At the same time, it has become a valuable resource for the community and contributed to the economic growth of Colorado Springs. Fiestas Patrias remains committed to supporting local nonprofits that focus on empowering entrepreneurs and small business owners.
El Mercado by Latina Equity Foundation
In 2025, Fiestas Patrias will donate 10% of sponsorship dollars to the Latina Equity Foundation to empower local Latinas who are emerging entrepreneurs.
The Mercado celebrates Latina entrepreneurship and small business owners through art and culture, offering a platform to promote economic empowerment, storytelling, and community-buildin.

Fiestas Patrias 2024 Impact: In May 2024, Thrive Network launched a Spanish cohort for new entrepreneurs. We celebrated the graduation of this first cohort at Fiestas Patrias 2024, where each graduate showcased their business at a free table during the festival.
